Fast Comment Denmark — Inflation still low

  1. Consumer prices fell by 0.4 percent m-o-m in August in line with our expectations
  2. Lower prices on summer house rentals, food and package tours drove the decline
  3. The annual inflation rate declined from 1.1 to 1.0 percent

Danish Comment — Inflationen er stadig meget lav

  1. Forbrugerpriserne faldt med 0,4% m/m i august, på linje med vores forventnin
  2. Lavere priser på sommerhusleje, fødevarer og især charterrejser trak ned i forbrugerpriserne
  3. Årsstigningstakten aftog fra 1,1% til 1,0% og der er således stadig tale om en meget lav inflation

Fast Comment Finland — A moderate slowdown in Finnish GDP growth in Q2

  1. GDP grew in Q2 by 0.3 percent q-o-q and 2.5 percent y-o-y
  2. Domestic demand the main contributor to GDP growth, yet net exports turned positive
  3. Strong but gradually moderating growth likely to continue

Danish Comment — Ikke meget gang i dansk økonomi

  1. BNP-væksten var på beskedne 0,2% q/q i 2. kvartal, på linje med Handelsbankens forventning
  2. Svag eksport, afdæmpet privatforbrug og et svagt landbrug trækker ned i aktiviteten
  3. Arbejdsmarkedet udvikler sig dog fortsat fornuftigt med et nyt lille fald i ledigheden
